Hi, I’m Leah,

and I can’t wait to be friends!

What must you know about me?

I love God, and from the moment that He grabbed hold of my heart, I knew that He was too good not to share with everyone I knew!

I love deep conversation, and idle chit chat is not my favorite. I am the friend that is known to bring a list of questions to our girls nights. Come to think of it, my friends are beginning to expect it and look forward to it.

I try my best to love people well because I have had great loss in my life, and there is no time to waste.

I’m a lifelong learner, always having four books going at any given time. I read and then instantly share what I’ve learned to anyone that will listen.

I made the choice years ago when I was trying to make friends to be the inviter, and I haven’t looked back. I love inviting friends to ALL the fun things!

I’m a perfectionist learning to fail while running after all that God is calling me to. I’m learning that my definition of failure and His definition are different. (For when I am weak, He is strong, and I’d rather look like a fool so that He gets all the credit, not me)

I love putting words to what I see in life and what God is teaching me daily.

I am defined by so many things. Wife, Mom, Sister, Friend, Photographer, Writer, Exercise Enthusiast, Health Fad Lover, Gardener, Bread Maker, and Coffee Queen.

But the one title that has no chance of changing, and the one that defines me most is THE DAUGHTER OF THE KING.

I’m learning day by day, to let that title sink to my core, and to simply let God love me!

To know me fully, you have to know my family.

Our Family of 5.

This is my family of five. We live in a small town in Northwest Ohio where both my husband and I grew up. We can walk around the corner to visit my brother and his wife, and then walk one more block to visit my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their kids. This is a sweet gift from God that I don’t think I’ll ever get over.

We met in the 5th Grade.

We really did. I met Trevor on the first day of 5th grade. It was my first day at a new school, and we were in the same class that year. It was a rough beginning in our “friendship” during the middle school years, but we started dating our Sophomore year in High School and never looked back. He was another true gift from God being by my side so early in my life! We grew up together and now I pray we will grow old together.

Our 3 Kids

I dreamt of our future kids for many years, and yet they are better than I ever dreamed! Even when our house is crazy, loud, and messy, I can’t imagine a day without them. Jasper is 9, Ellis is 6, and Crosby is 3.
