Running Group

After running my half marathon, I knew that I wanted to keep running, but I also did not want to keep running so many miles.  It was an amazing accomplishment, but the training took up a lot of my time, which I don't have right now in my busy season.  It was also very hard on my body.  I want running to be fun and a challenge at the same time - so I decided to do a bunch of 5k's this summer.I had always wanted to run a half marathon, but I finally had that extra push from a group of people that got together to do it that work with Trevor. Sometimes you just need someone to push you over the edge to jump completely in.  I would love to be that push for you!  I just think it would be so awesome to get a huge group of people together for these runs.  All supporting each other along the way, and all reaching our goals together. Here are the races that I am planning to do:June 12 : 2nd Annual Run for Relay -   It supports Relay for LIfe of Fulton County and also the American Cancer Society.  The race is going to be held at the Fulton County Fairgrounds starting at 9:00 AM.  If you would like the sign-up, email me and I will send you the form.June 20 : Father's Day Run 4 Trails -  This one is in Fort Wayne and it is a 5K Trail Run.  I thought it would be a different challenge.  For more information, CLICK HERE.July 3 : Hamilton Lake Road Classic -  This one is located at Hamilton Lake in Indiana.  For more information, CLICK HERE.July 17 : Run for the Lights -  This one is right here in Archbold.  The race starts at 8:00 AM.  You can stick around for the "Art in the Park" that starts at 11:00 AM and support our local artists.  It is a great event.  For more information, CLICK HERE.Here are some other races that I will not be participating in:June 19 : Bullfrog 5K -  Located in Wauseon at the Fulton County Fairgrounds.  For more information, CLICK HERE.July 31 : Blazin' Race -  Located in Bryan, OH.  For more information CLICK HERE.If you know of any other races, feel free to let me know either in the comments section or send me an email.  Many of these races also invite walkers. This does not have to be just a running group, so if you want to walk, feel free to join in with us too!  The more the merrier!  It would be so great to get a number of people to participate in these events together.  If you are planning to sign up for some of these races, let me know.  Then I can get a list together of people and see where it goes from there.  I am glad that there are so many people already interested!  Now get outside, and enjoy a run!
