Randi + Adam | Wedding

My sister's wedding was all that I imagined it would be...and so much more!  I don't even know how to put into words what the day meant to all of us involved. Starting back a year ago, I began rattling off my wedding recommendations to my sister, which was probably overwhelming to her and helpful at the same time.  I guess I forgot just how time consuming it is to be a bride. Seeing my sister plan a wedding completely styled to represent her and Adam as a couple reminded how hard it is to create the "picture perfect" wedding, but the pay off in the end is definitely worth the long hours. The emotion of the day completely took me by surprise; I was not expecting it at all.  I guess with the combination of "new mom hormones" and seeing my only sister walk down the aisle was just too much for me to handle.  Months before the wedding, I knew I wanted to do something special for Randi.  Our Dad died when we were young kids, and whenever  life's momentous occasions happen, having a small part of him there is very important to us.  So I had a handkerchiefs made for Randi, my mom, and myself addorned with lace from my mom's veil when she married my Dad.  We each carried our handkerchiefs throughout the day, and they were much needed.  Randi's is in the picture below. And I want to say right away that the entire day was documented by the amazing AMANDA JULCA!  The images she created are more than I could have ever even began to dream up. The location for the wedding was unbelievably perfect!  Randi made all of the decorations herself, with help from family and friends.Randi and Adam's "first look".  I watched from afar when I dropped her off, and it looked as if it was out of a movie. Randi was an absolutely stunning bride!  Adam is one lucky man!  And isn't her hairpiece/veil AWESOME?!  I wish I would have had it when I got married.

Her bouquet was a perfect mixture.  Willeman's Flowers did an amazing job taking Randi's vision and turning it into a piece of art.

This was my Dad's 87' Chevy Scottsdale that my brother completely restored himself!  It is his pride and joy, and it was a perfect addition to the day.

I don't think I could pick a favorite image, but this one is up there!

Awww....me and my sister!

I love the pictures of my family!  Rarely do we get a picture of all of us kids, let alone the entire family!  The funny thing is, when I saw these next couple images I thought, is that really how many people are in our family?!  No wonder people look at us like we are crazy!  It never feels like that many to us though, it is simply our family.  I wouldn't want it any other way!  I love them all so much!

We weren't planning on getting a picture taken of just me, Randi, and my brother, Trevor, but at the last minute we got together for one quickly.  The moment we all looked at each other we teared up.  I know that I will not be able to put this into words quite right, but it is a moment that I don't ever want to forget. It may not make sense, but I know my Dad was there that day.  There was a strong breeze, and I could just feel him surrounding us all.  There are few moments in life where I have felt this indescribable feeling of calm, and this was one of them.  He was there watching his baby girl get married, enjoying his first grandchild, and taking pride in the man his only son has become.  There is no doubt in my mind.

The Lemonade Stand was much needed for guests in the 90 degree heat!

I love this picture of Randi and Dad!  They both look blissfully happy!

The four boys played a special role in the wedding.  They walked each one of us bridesmaids over the bridge and then stood there as Randi and Dad also crossed the bridge.

GORGEOUS!!!
