Jasper and Ellis' New Room
I have been so excited to share Jasper and Ellis' new shared bedroom for months, but putting it all together has been a slow and long process. I knew I needed to take my time so that I would get everything just the way I wanted. The first step was that I knew I wanted grey walls. When I began, I thought I wanted girly pink on one side, and navy blue boy patterns on Jasper's side. It all changed when I fell in love with the idea of plain white bedding and then found these fun red curtains at Target. Many items are reused and repainted from Jasper's baby room, most of the room's decorations are from Ikea, and then there are a few unique pieces that I found on Etsy. Jasper loves his new room, and we will see how much he still likes it when Ellis starts sleeping in there too.Growth Chart: EtsyCrib: Ikea (From Jasper's baby room)Shoe Rack Bench, Pillows, Baskets, and Dog Tail Hooks: Ikea
I am planning to fill the two natural wood frames with black and white pictures of Jasper and Ellis. I actually just ordered them yesterday! I wanted much of the decor to be more neutral (blacks, tans, browns, whites) with some pops of color throughout the room, and I think the black and white prints will help that.
